JD Institute of Fashion Technology celebrates Convocation Day; over 300 students graduate to take up entrepreneurship and other vocations

New Delhi: JD Institute of Fashion Technology, one of the leading fashion education Institutes of India held its graduation ceremony recently at the Delhi Campus. Graduating students of the institution were in high spirits as they received their degrees during the 28th convocation. Over 300 students from seven different disciplines were conferred degrees on this occasion. Out of which 80 percent of them have been successfully placed in some of the top fashion and retail brands in India namely, H&M, Zara, Tommy Hilfiger, etc.

In the spirit of promoting entrepreneurship the institute will closely monitor the career graphs of the latest batch of graduates pursuing entrepreneurship. They will be felicitated with the RC Dalal and Chandrakant Dalal Memorial Award, a scholarship of Rs 50,000 will be handed over to them at the time of The Fashion Awards which is considered as one of the biggest design event by an institution.
