JIKA Smart Installation Systems Expands Manufacturing Capacity to 70 MW/Month to Meet Rising Data Center Demands
- New Facility in Khalapur to Enhance Production Capabilities, Supporting Both Indian and International Project
Hyderabad : JIKA Smart Installation Systems, India’s leading specialist in data center infrastructure projects, recently announced a significant expansion of its manufacturing capacity of data centre infrastructure components to 70 MW per month. As part of the expansion, a new facility will come up in Khalapur, Maharashtra, near the company’s existing facility. This will add 40 MW per month of additional capacity to the company’s present manufacturing capacity of 30 MW per month.
With an investment of Rs 5 crore, the new facility will span across some 30,000 square feet of area. The added capacity will help JIKA Smart Installation Systems in serving their domestic as well as international clients with greater ease.
JIKA Smart Installation Systems is known for its expertise in building climate-resilient data center infrastructure, offering specialised solutions such as Modular Support Systems, Heavy Duty Structural Ceilings, Seismic Resistance Engineering for MEP services, and Modular MEP Framing and Installation packages.
Hyderabad has emerged as a major hub for data center investments in India, driven by the city’s strategic location, robust infrastructure, and favourable government policies. With the increasing demand for digital services and cloud computing, several global and domestic players are investing heavily in Hyderabad’s data center market. Moreover, Hyderabad’s proximity to major IT and business centers has bolstered its position as a key player in the nation’s data center ecosystem. Commenting on the expansion plans, Rushabh Dedhia, Managing Director, JIKA – Smart Installation Systems, said, “This expansion is expected to create substantial employment opportunities, with 100 new positions in the factory, 200+ roles for site installations, and 50 engineering positions dedicated to project delivery and support. We have a proven track record of delivering high-quality data center infrastructure and have successfully completed 13 lakh square feet of data center space and over 280 MW of projects.”

At present, JIKA is further creating an additional 5 lakh square feet of infrastructure in the pipeline, totalling 452 MW in India alone. In the Middle East and APAC regions, JIKA has also executed 1.7 lakh square feet of data center infrastructure with a 90 MW capacity.
JIKA’s expansion comes at a time when the data center industry is witnessing an unprecedented growth, led by the increasing need for data storage across various sectors. According to a recent JLL report, global data center storage capacity is projected to grow from 10.1 zettabytes (ZB) in 2023 to 21.0 ZB in 2027, with a compound annual growth rate of 18.5% over the next five years.
