JK Bank RSETI hosts awareness camp at Village Biela Mandi
POONCH : To acquaint the unemployed rural youth about self-employment avenues besides purpose and activities of J&K Bank, Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) today organised an awareness camp at Village Baila, block Mandi Poonch.
A cross section of people hailing from the Baila Mandi and its adjoining areas participated in the camp.
The representative of JK BANK RSETI Poonch apprised the participants about the different facilities provided by the institute for imparting training to rural youth in local trades and crafts and to guide them for establishment of income and employment generating units.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajat Sharma and Sangram Singh (faculty JKBRSETI Poonch) gave a detailed overview of the RSETI. They informed the participants about vision, objectives, scope, trainings, selection of candidates and activity wise training programmes of the Institute.
The Faculty Members apprised the participants about the self-employment schemes and called upon them to avail benefits entailed under these schemes.
The participants were made aware about benefits and eligibility criteria for training courses like Stitching and Tailoring course, Beautician course, One month basic Electrician Course and Dairy Farming Training Course.
The JKBRSETI faculty encouraged the participants to avail Pardhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojna (PMSBY) Scheme; Pardhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY ); JKREGP & PMEGP Scheme and Atal Pension Yojana for Life Security.
Meanwhile, the participants hailed the J&K Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute Poonch for conducting the camp in the far flung area.
