SRINAGAR : Director General, J&K IMPARD today chaired a high level meeting to finalise the arrangements for training of 1250 Senior Assistants (SA’s), largest ever single training batch in J&K IMPARD.

Speaking during the meeting, the DG IMPARD appreciated the efforts of Chief Secretary, Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta and General Administration Department in deputing the said batch who shall be imparted training in Conduct Rules, E-Governance, GFR-2017, J&K Reorganization Act-2019, JKSPAYS, Budget Manual, Civil Service Rules and other things.

Since these 1250 Senior Assistants are backbone of the Governance in various Departments, IMPARD shall be utilizing the services of experts and faculty from various domains besides senior officers of IAS and KAS to train the said batch.

This special joint initiative of GAD and IMPARD is designed to accelerate the promotion of the said officials who have been facing stagnation for more than a decade.

J&K IMPARD in the current financial year has tripled its training capacity and is training more than 7000 officers and officials to bring improvement in the governance across J&K.

On this occasion, the trainee employees also met the DG, IMPARD and congratulated the Government for taking this progressive decision.
