JK Lakshmipat University Organizes a Blood Donation Camp to Commemorate 90th Birth Anniversary of Late Hari Shankar Singhania

Jaipur  – JK Lakshmipat University Organized a Blood Donation Camp on 20th June 2023 in honor of the late visionary industrialist and philanthropist, Shri Hari Shankar Singhania. The event took place between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm at the healthcare center located on the university campus.

This event was organized in memory of our reverent Late Chairman Shri HS Singhania who holds great significance.

The blood donation camp served as a fitting tribute to the 90th birth anniversary of the illustrious Hari Shankar Singhania, a prominent figure in the business and social welfare domains. JKLU achieved a remarkable milestone by collecting a record-breaking 59 units of blood from all groups of people. The aim of this camp was to unite in the spirit of selflessness and extend support to those in need of life-saving blood transfusions.

“Through the simple act of donating blood, we wanted to honor the legacy of compassion, kindness, and humanity of the late Hari Shankar Singhania. The aim of this activity was to provide an opportunity to educate students about the importance and benefits of blood donation and promote a culture of voluntary blood donation from an early age. Such activities help students to foster a sense of social responsibility and empathy towards others and allow them to contribute to society in a meaningful way and instills values of giving and helping others”, said Dr. Dheeraj Sanghi, VC, JK Lakshmipat University.

“Our sincere  thanks and gratitude to all team members  , volunteers, medical team  and specially all  donors   who contributed  today in a big way for the noble cause of Blood donation on the occasion  of 90th Birth anniversary  of our  reverent Late Chairman Shri HS Singhania.

The affection and zeal to contribute to this event has resulted in participation of more than 86 people”, said Mr. S. R. Pandey, Chief of HR and Administration, JKLU. He also thanked Dr.Dheeraj Sanghi for making this event successful.

 The Blood Donation Camp at JKLU was open to all the students, faculties, staff, the teaching and non-teaching, security, and transport personnel and the local community. The event adhered to all necessary health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of donors and organisers.
