JKLU commences its 12-day orientation program ‘Aarambh’ from July 24

 

 

Jaipur : JKLakshmipat University, one of the leading educational institutions in the country, commenced its 12-day orientation program ‘Aarambh’ from July 24 for the new batch. The event will conclude on August 4. It is a completely residential program, where all first-year students (day scholars and hostellers) will stay on the campus and get introduced to the faculty and student council, besides participating in several fun activities and events.

Aarambh will comprise of workshops, sessions, power talks, sports, club activities, and morning yoga/zumba/meditation sessions. These sessions will begin from 6:30 am and will continue till 11:00 am with regular meals break. Major highlights at the event will include a theater workshop by Rang Mastaaney, ‘Ice-breaking session” by Manish Freeman, a craft appreciation workshop, and goal setting workshop.

“We are happy to announce our annual orientation program Aarambh. Like every year, we would like to welcome our new batch with a lot of activities and sessions. JKLU aims at providing world-class education in a healthy atmosphere where students and faculty can gel together. Our office of student affairs along with a team of 50+ student coordinators and volunteers will ensure smooth execution of the event,” said Mr Deepak Sogani, Head of Student Affairs, JK Lakshmipat University.

AARAMBH-2023 was inaugurated with the traditional Lamp Lighting and Saraswati Vandana, after which Vice Chancellor, Dr. Dheeraj Sanghi welcomed all newly admitted students and their parents and thanked them for their trust on JKLU. He mentioned JKLU was a unique learning institution in many ways and congratulated them for having made the right choice in one of the most important decisions of their lives. He said, “You have worked hard to reach here; you have to continue to work hard in order to perform well here and in the career after your graduation.”

Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Asheesh Gupta, Director – Institute of Design, Prof A Balasubramaniam, Director & Dean – Institute of Engineering and Technology, Dr. Renu Jain and Acting Director – Institute of Management also spoke at the event and said that they all looked forward to interacting with and teaching the new students. The common advice was to make new friendships, work hard and give back to society as responsible citizens.

The programme was held in hybrid mode with over 150 people attending in person and more than another 400 people watching it over live webcast.
