JKSSB Exam: First phase test conducted smoothly in Rajouri, Samba
Jammu: The Service Selection Board first phase Examination for recruitment of class IV today concluded smoothly in Rajouri and Samba districts.
Elaborate arrangements have been put in place for fair conduct of the three phase exam across Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory. The next dates for the examination are February 28 and March 1, 2021.
Besides invigilators, Superintendents and Deputy Superintendents, Executive Magistrates and Observers, have been deployed for the smooth conduct of the exam.
At Rajouri, Deputy Commissioners, Rajesh Kumar Shavan visited the examination centres set up in the district to take stock of facilities and arrangements. The DC visited the centres established at SVS college Rajouri; Government Degree college Rajouri and Government Boys’ Higher secondary school Rajouri.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Sher Singh along with Additional Superintendent of Police, Liaquat Choudhary visited all the examination centres established in the district.
In Samba District, against 5185 registered candidates, 4375 appeared for today’s exam. The examination was held across district samba in 23 designated centres where all the necessary arrangements were ensured including Covid-19 SOPs.
The process for examination started early today with dispatch of exam material from strong room DC office, Samba to allocated exam centres. The complete process of examination was held smoothly as no report of untoward incident received.
The exam centres were visited by Member JKSSB Harvinder Kour, along with Additional Deputy Commissioner Samba, Nodal Officer for exam, Suram Chand Sharma.
As per ADC, the exam in all centres were conducted smoothly and amid video recording.
The arrangements for second and third phase of the examination scheduled for Feb 28 and March 1 have also been finalised well in advance, added ADC Samba.
