JKSSB examination arrangements reviewed at Kathua
Kathua: District Development Commissioner Kathua, Om Prakash today chaired a meeting to review the arrangements for smooth conduct of written test of Class IV posts being conducted by J&K Service Selection Board in the district.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Atul Gupta; ASP Ramnish Gupta; SDM, Bani, Jogidner Singh Jasrotia; ARTO, Duty Magistrates, Observers and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
At the outset, the DDC was informed that over 34000 candidates will appear in OMR based examination for Class IV posts to be held on 27th -28th February and 1st March across 37 identified examination centers in the district. It was also informed in the meeting that duties of Magistrates and Observers have been assigned whereas the list of examination staff comprising Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents, and supervisors shall be prepared before the next meeting.
It was also informed in the meeting that a committee constituted by district administration has inspected the examination centres to ensure availability of all basic amenities.
The ASP was directed to deploy adequate security staff in and around examination centers, besides providing security cover to examination parties dispatching from strong room. The ARTO was directed to provide vehicles for smooth ferrying of examination material from the strong room to the examination center and back on the examination days.
The DTO Kathua was asked to make all necessary arrangements at District Treasury and sub treasury Billawar for safe custody of exam material.
Regarding videography of the examination process, DIO Kathua was directed to prepare and submit the list of videographers well in advance.
The DDC called for maintaining close coordination among the concerned departments for smooth conduct of exams.
