JNMC Dept of Cardiology’s Cath Lab Workshop on Tachyarrhythmias

Aligarh : The Department of Cardiology recently hosted a Cath lab workshop focused on tachyarrhythmias and their treatment with EPS and RFA. Dr. Avinash Verma, a renowned electrophysiologist from Fortis Hospital, New Delhi, graced the event with his expertise. The workshop witnessed the successful ablation of 15 cases, providing much-needed relief to patients with abnormally high heart rates.

Prof. Asif Hasan, Chairman of the department, stressed the importance of such workshops in the future.

Enthusiastic participation was seen from senior residents pursuing their DM courses, with Prof. Malik Azharuddin actively engaging in the workshop. This initiative promises to create a network of excellence, benefiting patients and advancing cardiac care nationwide.
