Aligarh : Dr S M Danish Qaseem, Department of Radio-Diagnosis, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) completed the short-term training programme of the Department of Interventional Radiology at the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi—where he honed skills in various minimally-invasive image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat diseases in nearly every organ system.

Extending congratulations, Prof Shagufta Wahab (Chairperson, Department of Radio-Diagnosis, JNMC) said: “It is hoped that these specialised training programmes will further help upscale the nonvascular interventional radiology services and also provide the doctors with expertise of new procedures like microwave ablation of tumours.

Dr S M Danish joined JNMC as Assistant Professor in 2019. He has also worked as a consultant radiologist with various New Delhi based premier centers.
