JNMC faculty appointed as NAMS member

Aligarh : Prof Kafil Akhtar, Department of Pathology, Jawaharlal Nehru Medial College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University has been conferred with the Membership of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India for significant contributions to advancements in Medical Sciences.

As a NAMS member, he will work on fostering and utilising academic excellence to meet medical and social goals and promote ‘continuing medical education’ for junior scientists and medical professionals.

Prof Akhtar was awarded the membership in the National Convocation of the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.
