JNMC interns and students win awards at FAIMACON’ 22
Aligarh : Intern doctors and students of the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) swept a range of awards in the National Conference of the Federation of All India Medical Association – FAIMA (FAIMACON’ 22) held recently at the Hotel Raddison Blu, New Delhi.
Dr Vibhor Gupta received the ‘Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial Award’ for Medical Excellence, and Dr Lakhan Prakash Gupta got the ‘Best Intern Award’ and the team of Dr Lakhan Prakash Gupta and Dr Kartik Varshney received the second prize in the FAIMACON quiz contest with over 100 participants.
Dr Kartik Varshney also presented a research poster on ‘Covid-19 pandemic’ and Dr Mohit Singh was felicitated for an overall participation.
Extending congratulations; Prof Rakesh Bhargava (Dean, Faculty of Medicine and Principal) said: “JNMC students and interns have time and again brought laurels to their alma mater. I hope they keep inspiring their juniors and contemporaries with more achievements”.
