JNMC organises training for IEC members

Aligarh: In line with the Government of India Gazette notification, the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University organised an online programme to train members of the Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC), JNMC on ‘Good Clinical Practice.’

Held through video conferencing to observe the social distancing norms, the training provided the IEC members with the understanding of their roles and responsibilities in maintaining the norms of safety, integrity, and quality of clinical trials.

Inaugurating the programme, Prof M U Rabbani, Officiating Dean, Faculty of Medicine said, “Since we are bound to practice ethically, it is imperative to maintain the best quality standards for conducting clinical trials.”
