“JSID’s Convocation Ceremony Honors Achievements in Design Education”
New Delhi : JS Institute of Design (JSID), a leading design institute in the heart of New Delhi, recently celebrated the achievements of its graduating class of 2024 at the convocation ceremony. The event was attended by proud parents, faculty members, and industry mentors to witness the culmination of the students’ hard work and dedication. JSID in collaboration with École Intuit Lab — a French institute of design and creative strategy, ranked amongst the top design schools in France offers exclusive new-age programs such as Game Design, UI/UX, and Digital Design to address the dynamic demands of the evolving design landscape.
The ceremony was graced by esteemed guests from École Intuit Lab, including Founder, Clément Derock and Country Head India, Yan Garin. The Chief Guest, Dr. Pramath Raj Sinha, Founding Dean of ISB and Founder & Trustee of Ashoka University, shared valuable insights and encouraged students to embrace their creativity and innovation.
Mr. Clément Derock, Founder, École Intuit Lab, in his address, emphasized the collaboration with JSID highlighting the power of global design education and added further “We’re delighted to celebrate the achievements of these young designers. Ms. Nien Siao, Dean, JSID, facilitated the students and congratulated them on their achievements and encouraged them to cultivate the key skills of critical thinking, effective collaboration, and design innovation as they embark on their professional journeys in the world of design.
The exceptional accomplishments of students were recognized with prestigious awards. The talented award recipients who achieved a significant milestone were Sweksha Singh, a student in the Postgraduate Interior Design program, was recognized as the Best Academic Performer, a testament to her hard work and dedication. Meanwhile, Sonali Mankotia, a student in the Postgraduate program in Advertising, Design & Digital Communication, earned the honor of Valedictorian, showcasing her academic excellence.
