Digitally integrating distribution, customer experience, and supply chain for its large project division across steel and cement businesses.

Bengaluru : Salesforce (NYSE:CRM), the global leader in CRM, today announced their collaboration with the JSW Group to support an ambitious digital strategy. Using Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, the Indian conglomerate offers a single group interface, enhancing its distribution, customer experience and supply chain for its large project division across steel and cement businesses.

JSW Group is one of India’s leading business houses with a presence in steel, cement, and paints amongst other sectors. This combination gives JSW Group the unique advantage of providing an integrated offering to its large customers in the Infrastructure & Building industries space. By creating a single customer view across group companies, JSW Client Managers are equipped to personalise customer conversations and capitalise on cross-selling opportunities.

On a single platform, with access to holistic customer data from the sales teams, cross-selling relevant products and services has been simplified. After successfully delivering the JSW advantage to retail customers in the eastern parts of India, JSW is now looking to extend the large project clientele to other parts of India.

Mr Parth Jindal of JSW Group said, “Technology is an essential part of our growth strategy & the Salesforce platform enables greater collaboration between the sales teams of different business entities by providing them with the data and tools they require to manage customer requirements & relationships more efficiently through a single Group Interface. With the launch of the Aikyam initiative, we want to revolutionise the way JSW works with large clients in the Infrastructure & Building industries space. Subsequently, we plan to offer other group products such as paints, construction chemicals, RMC and many others to our large institutional customers through the Aikyam interface.”

Arun Kumar Parameswaran, SVP & MD, Sales & Distribution, Salesforce India, said, “The pandemic has reinforced the importance of customer experience across sectors. With a key focus on innovation, JSW has been a pioneer in the steel and cement business and has made many strides over the years.
