K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering ranked high among the nation’s best engineering colleges in 2024

Mumbai: K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering (KJSCE) of the Somaiya Vidyavihar University has received top academic rankings in ten categories across five annual surveys conducted by renowned Indian media conglomerates, magazines, and research agencies. It included Times Group, India Today – Marketing and Development Research Associates (MDRA), Education World, The Week – Hansa Research, and Reader’s Digest.

In the Times Engineering Survey 2024, KJSCE emerged as Mumbai’s number one engineering university. Education World Ranking 2024 placed the institution 2nd in Maharashtra and 21st in India. According to India Today Magazine Survey 2024, it secured the third position among Mumbai’s top private engineering colleges and ranked 19th among India’s top private engineering colleges. The WEEK Magazine Survey 2024 on private engineering colleges ranked KJSCE 2nd in Mumbai, 5th in Maharashtra, 7th in the West Zone, and 23rd in India. Based on the Reader’s Digest Survey 2024, KJSCE is the 19th best private engineering college in the country.

The incredible achievements in 2024 underscore the institution’s excellence across academics, skill-building, faculty expertise, infrastructure, international tie-ups, and student accomplishments.
