Kalorex Founder Dr. Manjula Pooja Shroff Shares Message of Peace, Empathy at International Human Rights Summit

Ahmedabad: In a world filled with inequalities, intolerance, and despair, we must strive to promote dialogues of peace, empathy and unity to create a positive societal impact on younger generations, says Dr. Manjula Pooja Shroff, the MD and CEO of Kalorex Group, at the 18th International Human Rights Summit at the United Nations in New York.

The summit, held from July 18 to 20, coincided with the birth anniversary of anti-apartheid activist Dr. Nelson Mandela.

The event served as a platform for prominent human rights activists, dignitaries, officials, and youth to exchange ideas, develop action plans, and advance the movement for international peace.

Emphasising Dr. Mandela’s advocacy for human rights and education as catalysts for change, Dr Shroff urged the youth to unite and create a positive societal impact.

Quoting Dr. Mandela, she said, “It is easy to break and destroy, but real heroes maintain peace and build.”

Dr. Shroff, who has dedicated her life to education, was also a part of the ECOSOC (Economic & Social Council) meetings at the United Nations.

The International Human Rights Summit is organised by the Youth for Human Rights International to bring education of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) to the forefront of academic attention as the medium to end the inhumane violations of these rights that plague society.
