Kantar India’s Audio and Video OTT measurement partner VTION wins the Best Use of Technology Award at MRSI Golden Key Awards 2020

Mumbai: In a clean sweep, VTION (Vidhi Techinnovation Opportunities Network Private Limited) bagged the Dr. Lalit Kanodia Laureate Award for Technology Excellence in Market Research at MRSI’s (Market Research Society of India) Golden Key Awards 2020. VTION won this award for best use of technology in market research.

VTION has built a technology stack for measurement of consumer behavior on smart devices in real time. The data collection side SDK methodology is based on Android stack & Google Services configuration. The SDK is highly optimized; such that there is minimal battery consumption, minimum data consumption and very low memory footprint. The Middleware is a hub for high velocity data processing with Machine Learning algorithms written for data cleansing and correlation. End customer dashboards are state of art visualizations built using contemporary tools that make it easy for data exploration and analysis.

 

This patented technology is developed 100 percent in India and has made significant global strides as well. Proof of Concepts (POC’s) have been explored in three countries. VTION has partnered with the leading global market research and insights company- Kantar on an uninterrupted month on month OTT audio consumption measurement service. Some other global players who have availed VTION’s expertise for their Indian operations are Spotify, Prime Video and Dentsu.
