Kathua Admin holds Block Diwas at Chakra

Kathua: District Administration Kathua today organised Weekly Block Diwas here at Government Higher Secondary School Charkra to listen to the grievances of the people and provide various services.

District Development Commissioner, O.P.Bhagat presided over the Block Diwas Programme.

During the programme, the Public representatives and locals of the area put forth their grievances and demands regarding drinking water, electricity, ration, old age pensions and Houses under PMAY etc.

The DDC gave a patient hearing and directed the concerned officers resolve their issues in a time bound manner. Many grievances were redressed on the spot, while DDC assured that rest of them would be redressed on the priority basis.

Similar Block Diwas programmes were organised in all the blocks of Kathua district

District Development Council members of block Hiranagar and Block Marheen, ASP Kathua, Ramnish Gupta , Sub Divisional Magistrate Hiranagar and Block level officers were present on the occasion.
