Kathua: SWD, ALIMCO holding prosthetic aids distribution camps from March 15 to March 27, 2022
KATHUA : Department of Social Welfare, Kathua in collaboration with Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) has issued a schedule of Distribution Camps to be held in different parts of the Kathua district.
As per the Public Notice issued by District Social Welfare Office Kathua, camps for distribution of prosthetic aids are being organized from March 15, 2022 to March 27 during which the disabled beneficiaries will be given assistance under the scheme.
According to the schedule, a Distribution Camp will be held at Durga Puri Temple Complex in block Gujjrro Nagrota on March 15, 2022, besides a similar camp will be held at Tehsil Social Welfare Office Billawar on March 16, 2022. The identified beneficiaries of Gujjroo Nagrota and Billawar blocks can contact the Coordinator Des Raj, Jr. Asstt for any query on his contact no 9858678710.
Similarly, a distribution camp is scheduled to be held at Rest House, Mahanpur on March 17, 2022, followed by a camp at Rest House, Basohli on March 19, 2022.

Likewise, for the beneficiaries of Bani and Duggan blocks, a camp will be held at Mela ground Bani on March 21, 2022. Coordinator Khurshida Begum can be approached on mobile no 9906063012 for any query related to the camp.
For distribution of the Prosthetic Aids and Appliances to the person with disabilities of border blocks of Hiranagar and Marheen, a camp will be held at Govt. Middle School, Pheru Chack Hiranagar on March 23, 2022 and at Community hall, Raghunathpura, Marheen on March 24, 2022 respectively. Similarly, for Kathua block, a distribution camp will be held at Zila Sainik Welfare Office, near Boys Higher Secondary School, Kathua on March 25, 2022. A camp will be held at the Rural Health Training Centre, Budhi for beneficiaries of Barnoti block on March 26, 2022 and a similar distribution camp will be held at the Municipal Committee Office, Nagri on March, 27 2022.
