Mumbai: NPCI Bharat BillPay Ltd. (NBBL), a subsidiary of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), is pleased to announce a significant partnership that brings Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), an autonomous body under the aegis of the Ministry of Education, into the Bharat BillPay platform as an Education Fee category biller. This collaboration, powered by Union Bank of India, marks a milestone in the digital transformation of fee payments for one of India’s largest school networks.

With this development, parents of over 1.4 million students enrolled in Kendriya Vidyalayas nationwide will have the convenience of paying the school fees seamlessly through BHIM UPI and other Bharat BillPay-enabled channels, like PhonePe, Google Pay etc. Adding KVS as an education fees biller aligns with the Reserve Bank of India’s vision of expanding the scope of BBPS (Bharat Bill Payment System) to enhance digital empowerment across India’s educational landscape.
