Khurai to be made Mini Smart City
Bhopal : The Minister for Urban Development and Housing Shri Bhupendra Singh has said that Khurai will be developed as Mini Smart City. Shri Singh announced various development works costing Rs. 22 crore of Nagar Palika Parishad Khurai of Sagar district on Saturday. In a programme organized in Khurai, he mentioned that comprehensive development of Khurai will be done.
Minister Shri Singh made announcement for Rs. 2 crore 86 lakh for Atal Bihari Vajpayee Residential Colony, Rs. One crore 50 lakh for construction of CC Road, sewerage system and other development works from special grant, Rs. 16 crore for BLC houses and Rs. 2 crore for Haat Bazaar. He granted approval to the pending cases of beneficiaries for 500 houses of BLC. Minister Shri Singh instructed to restart the work of houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas AHP scheme. He mentioned that 329 new residential pattas have been sanctioned for the beneficiaries. The remaining cases will be examined and pattas will be given to those people, who do not posses land ownership. He directed SDM for further action in this regard.
Cases of 1257 street vendors approved
Minister Shri Singh distributed sanction letters to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Vendors Atma-Nirbhar Nidhi (PM Swanidhi). Loan amount of Rs. 10 thousand in each account of 115 street vendors has already been transferred. This amount has been given to total 1257 street vendors of the city.
Khurai and Malthone get ambulance
Minister Shri Singh has provided one ambulance each to the hospitals of Khurai and Malthone from MLA fund. He said that the Deendayal Antodaya Rasoi Yojana will be started in Khurai from the month of August. Local public representatives and officers were present on the occasion.
