Kidpreneurs Inc introduces Skill Building and Early Career Development pop up for Young Entrepreneurs

 

 

New Delhi – Kidpreneurs Inc is a unique pop-up that will provide a platform to bring together children to help them showcase their small businesses and build real-life entrepreneurial skills.

The event will take place on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Maharani Bagh Community Center from 11 am to 5 pm. Some of the Kidprenuers participating include Bath Candy Shop by Aaizah Khanna, Sunkissed Handmade Jewellery by Kiara Pasricha, Silver and Salt Jewellery by Armaana Kashyap, Gloss It Up lip balm by Mia Singh, Dark Horse Design resin products by Leela Mathur, Awesomely Pawsome homemade pet treats by Vaanyaa Mehrotra and Avika Shrivastava, Brownie Bites by Ryan Wang, New Hope coded walking sticks for the blind by Viraj Sharaff and much more. The day itself will be interspersed with fun workshops and energizing activities like yoga, games, inspirational success stories, entrepreneurial sessions and much more. This capacity building event has been conceptualized keeping in mind UN Sustainable Development Goals including quality education for all. This pilot will serve as a gateway to a much larger educational and experiential learning outreach, connecting exchange programs, resources, activities and networks to help our Kidprenuers gain scale and success for their ideas. It will provide a supportive network to enable kids to achieve positive entrepreneurial outcomes.

Ahead of the event, there will be an exclusive workshop at the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA) to help the child participants prepare for the event. Kids will learn strategies on how to best showcase their business, how to plan their procurement, how to develop marketing plans, mental well-being and mindful art-based techniques, top tips for success, among other things. This workshop will be led by experts such as Lyndee Prickitt of Newsy Poloozi podcast (recommended podcast by the New York Times), Sonali Sahgal Kapur (Early childhood education specialist, Business Finland leading the Education sector) and the renowned KNMA Education team.
