Kidzpreneur Collaborates with UP Government under ‘Ideathon’ initiative to inculcate entrepreneurship skills among school students
This Delhi-based start-up through its incubator – Kurativz will support the UP government in its Ideathon initiative
New Delhi: Kidzpreneur- a Delhi-based Edtech Startup, with its unique transformative learning program, would be collaborating with the Uttar Pradesh (UP) government for their unique initiative ‘Ideathon’ under the UP-Information Technology Policy. Kidzpreneur, a brainchild of highly successful entrepreneurs and leaders of their field, has been roped in as a partner by the state government.
The collaboration aims to impart entrepreneurship skills among the school students especially government schools. Given the fact that these kids are not very exposed to a lot of new things that are happening around the world, ‘Ideathon’ would open new vistas for knowledge, information, ideas, and problem-solving skills for them.
Speaking about the initiative Mr Shishir Miglani, Founder, Kidzpreneur, said that, “Ideathon is directed towards teaching entrepreneurial skills right from school that would help in employment generation through self-establishment, thereby going by our PM’s words of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.”
This bootstrapped start-up through their incubator – Kurativz will be supporting the UP government in this extraordinary initiative. Several schools have been approached by the state officials for Ideathon and more than fifteen schools have expressed their willingness to be a part of the initiative.
“Students are showing keen interest to learn entrepreneurship skills. It is promising to note that girls’ participation is more compared to boys. In our state, it is indeed very encouraging. “At the preliminary stage itself, school students not only brought innovative ideas but also had the clarity to explain as to how they wanted to execute them. Kidzpreneur is expected to further hone their talent and help them reach great heights,”said Mr. Abhishek Tiwari, Advisor, Start-up Program, Government of UP. This is the very vision of this government under Hon’ble CM Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji to create thought leaders in every village of the state.
The UP government’s collaboration with Kidzpreneur is expected to bring a significant change in creating a new ecosystem for developing entrepreneurship skills among the school students.
Sharing his views about Ideathon, Mr Amit Mishra, Co-Founder, Kidzpreneur, said that, “As students, especially girls are showing more interest in learning entrepreneurial skills, it’s time we focus on their participation and handhold them for the ‘Ideathon.’ Gradually, they will come up with ideas and execute them through us and the government.”
“These ideas can be taken to the next level and implemented in the best possible way to solve the problems around them,” he added.
With the government promoting the youth to be self-dependent, Kidzpreneur is adding value to help them solve everyday problems at their end, build things that would support them and give an ecosystem to develop their ideas into products and bestow wings to their ideas.
