KIET School of management organizes online international conference

 

New Delhi : The sixth Online International Conference on “Advancing Management: Innovation, Engagement and Impact in the Post COVID Era” was successfully organized by KIET School of Management (KIET Group of Institutions, Delhi-NCR) in association with SWOSU-USA; Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology-Uzbekistan and Indo-Gulf Marketing Association-Dubai.

The Conference was inaugurated by Chief Guest- Dr. Vinita S. Sahay (Director) IIM Bodh Gaya, and Keynote Speakers – Dr. AP Mohd Ismid Md Said, Pro-VC (International) University Technology Malaysia, Mr. Mamatkarimоv Оdiljоn Оxundadayevich, Rector, Namangan Institute of Engineering & Technology, Uzbekistan, Ms. Jonna Myers, (Director of Graduate Programs), Everett Dobson School of Business & Technology, SWOSU, USA, and Dr. Mohan Agarwal (President, IGMA), Indo Gulf Marketing Association, Dubai.

Dr. (Col) A Garg- Director, KIET Group of Institutions, Dr. Manoj Goel- Joint Director and Dr. R. Srinivasan (Hod-MBA & Conference Chairman) welcomed the distinguished guests by offering virtual bouquet.

In her address, Dr. Vinita S. Sahay focused on the need of Advancing Management in the present time especially after 1st and 2nd wave of COVID -19 by quoting various examples of organizational situation in India. Dr. AP Mohd Ismid Md Said inspired young managers to learn the real time management by focusing on Innovation. Mr. Mamatkarimоv Оdiljоn Оxundadayevich highlighted the importance of Advancement in Management in Organizations which will help in leading at National and International platform. Ms. Jonna Myers shared her experience about coping up with COVID-19 in USA and how her university overcame the challenges of COVID and gave useful inputs to management students. Dr. Mohan Agarwal educated the participants to face, accept and adapt to the changes occurring due to COVID-19.

Dr. Srinivasan, HOD-MBA presented Conference report in which he stated that more than 200 research papers were received out of which 145 papers were accepted and presented by national and international delegates from USA, Dubai, Oman, Uzbekistan and almost from all over India. These papers were presented in twelve technical sessions which were chaired by eminent academicians and researchers from diverse reputed organizations.

Dr. Manoj Goel (Joint Director) expressed his views on the purpose of organizing this conference and the need of Advancement in Management. Dr. (Col) A Garg- Director-KIET, emphasized on involvement of students to practically understand the theme of the conference and apply in real time. Dr. Binkey Srivastava (Addl Head-KSOM) presented Vote of thanks to all the invitees. Dr. Mani Tyagi and Dr. Amit Arora along with all faculty, staff members and students of MBA department coordinated this conference successfully.
