KIIT World School, Gurgaon Celebrates 78th Independence Day
Gurgaon: KIIT World School, Gurgaon celebrated the 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The presence of the Chief Guest graced the event, Colonel Sant Pal Raghav (Retd). The celebration occurred on the school premises with a large gathering of students, teachers, and parents.
The event began with the hoisting of the national flag and the singing of the national anthem. Colonel Sant Pal Raghav unfurled the flag and shared his experiences and thoughts. Addressing the students, he said, “Independence is our nation’s greatest heritage, and we must always cherish it. True patriotism lies in dedicated service to the nation.”
Following the Chief Guest’s address, students presented various cultural programs, including patriotic songs, dances, and skits. The performances filled everyone with a sense of national pride. Colonel Sant Pal Raghav praised the children’s efforts and encouraged them to make the nation proud in the future.
The school’s Principal, Neelima Kamrah, expressed her gratitude in her vote of thanks, saying, “It is a matter of pride for all of us to celebrate this great Independence Day in such a manner. I sincerely thank Colonel Sant Pal Raghav for inspiring our children. Our school is committed to the holistic development of our students, and events like these play a crucial role in teaching them the values of patriotism and unity.”
She further added, “Our aim is for our students to excel not only academically but also morally and culturally. Today’s program has reinforced our belief that our children are the bright future of our nation. I thank all the teachers, students, and parents for making this event a success.”
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates to all participants for their outstanding performances. This occasion filled everyone with a sense of patriotism and conveyed a message of unity.
