King’s College London hosts online event on ‘Adult safeguarding, homelessness and self-neglect’
Over 50 participants today joined a City and Hackney online event to discuss the Unit’s ‘Adult safeguarding, homelessness and self-neglect’ study, including service leads, elected members and community and statutory sector practitioners.
The event was chaired by Dr Adi Cooper OBE, Chair of the City and Hackney Safeguarding Adults Board.
Jess Harris presented the study’s qualitative findings and Dr Michela Tinelli the economic analysis, and to build the local contextual picture there were presentations from Celia Jeffreys, Associate Director for Safeguarding Adults and Ellie Hobart, Deputy Director of Transformation, from the North East London Health and Care Partnership; Arto Maatta, Pathway Development Manager for the London Borough of Hackney; Maddie Tait, Homelessness Prevention and Rough Sleeping Social Worker in the City of London; and Ed Addison, the London Navigator Team Manager, from St Mungo’s.
The next webinar presenting findings from this NIHR School for Social Care Research funded study is on 31.1.23. It is open to all.
