Kirloskar Institute of Management Hosts a Momentous Convocation Ceremony for the graduates of PGDM
Pune : Kirloskar Institute of Management (Earlier Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies- HARIHAR & PUNE), celebrated the convocation ceremony for graduating students of 2018-20, 2019-21, and 2020-22 at the Pune campus on May 27, 2023. The convocation ceremony marked an important milestone in the lives of the graduating students. Graduands, along with their family members, faculty members, alumni and esteemed guests participated in the convocation and made the event a grand success. The event was presided over by Chief Guests; Mr. Sameer Shukla, Vice President & India Head, Nielsen IQ, Mumbai and the Guest of Honour Ms. Bhavna Kumar, Director HR, Deutsche Bank.
Mr. Atul Kirloskar, President, Governing Council declared the convocation open and congratulated the graduands and merit awardees of 2023, 2022, and 2021 who experienced a unique struggle of Covid-19 online classes and emerged successful. He urged them embrace opportunities and face challenges in a world filled with limitless possibilities.
Dr. Biplab Kumar Biswal, the Director presented the academic report which was studded with achievements in terms of new programs, expansions, international conference, national and international collaborations, FDPs, MDPs, workshops, research and publication, patents contribution, and the likes.
Mr. Sameer Shukla addressing the graduands, advised them to maintain balance and peace as they go through the high and low phases in their lives. He commended them to be aware of their responsibility to make the world a better place.
Ms. Bhavna Kumar encouraged the graduands with the crucial characteristics of success namely accountable leadership, resilience to face challenges, curiosity to learn through life, respect and accept diversity and to have an attitude of excellence.
Alumni members Mr. Sambit Mohanty and Mr. Zargar Basharat Abbas shared their experiences and their path to success filled with the mantras of having purpose, passion and persistence directed towards creating a bright future in the rapidly evolving business world.
The graduands were awarded with degree certificate and outstanding students were honored with silver and gold medals.
Ms. Aditi Kirloskar, Vice President, Kirloskar Institute of Management commended and congratulated the graduates on their achievement. Dr. V.S Pai, Senior Professor presented vote of thanks.
