Kissan mela cum awareness camp held at Rajgarh

Rajgarh: Agriculture Department Ramban, today organized a one day Kissan Mela cum Awareness Camp in Block Rajgarh under Soil Health Card Scheme-National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture.

The camp was graced by District Development Council Member, Mohammad Shafi and BDC Chairperson Rajgarh, Sonika Devi.

At onset, the Chief Agriculture Officer, F.A Bhat presented a welcome address and briefed about various farmers welfare schemes launched by the Government to scale up agriculture production.

Addressing the camp, DDC Member lauded the efforts of the Agriculture department for organizing the awareness camp. He appealed the farmers to come forward and avail the maximum benefits from all departmental schemes.

Tehsildar, Rajgarh Omi Raj Sumbria and DAO, Ashwani Sharma also highlighted the importance of innovations and new techniques in farming.

During the camp, people were sensitized about the soil health maintenance and various other flagship schemes being implemented across the district by the agriculture department to enable farmers earn more benefits besides doubling their income by 2022.
