KLF Bhava Samvad hosted mystic poet and author Arundhathi Subramaniam

New Delhi: On Sunday 12 July, 2020, Kalinga Literary Festival – Bhava Samvad hosted mystic poet and author Arundhathi Subramaniam moderated by Prof. Tisha Srivastav.

Arundhathi spoke about her participation in spirituality. “The more spirituality one acquires, he becomes less in a body,” she said.

She proceeded telling about the greatest Kannada mystic poet Akka Mahadevi and women bhakti poets saying that they inhibit the body fiercely and heart fearlessly. “That’s something I am in awe of,” she remarks.

Narrating her paradoxical spiritual journey she said, “My spiritual journey began to take a route when my poems started getting more sensual, passionate, earthy, and erotic in subject.

When one owns a practice, be it any, it starts changing your inner architecture. The walls become more permissible, porus once spirituality transcends.”

KLF Bhava Samvad is a small step to regenerate the literary spirit at the time of disillusionment and new normal.
