KLH Bachupally Campus Duo Excel in AIT’s Geospatial Analytics Program

 

Hyderabad: KLH Bachupally Campus is proud to announce that Praneeth Kilari and Virinchi Deevi, first-year B.Tech students in Computer Science & Engineering, have successfully completed the prestigious International Geospatial Data Analytics Program at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand. This program, an internship-based initiative focusing on AI Boot Camp with AI*CSII Remote Sensing & GIS, is part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between KL Deemed to be University and AIT.

Praneeth Kilari excelled by specializing in High-Performance Computing, mastering advanced techniques such as MPI, OpenMP, CUDA, and Hadoop. His most rewarding experience was working as a Member of Jet Propulsion Laboratory at NASA JPL, where he collaborated with a team of experts and researchers on developing and testing innovative solutions for space exploration and planetary science using AI. He contributed to significant projects like the Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover and the Europa Clipper Mission, showcasing the practical impact and global reach of his education. Praneeth has earned the International Cyber Fair Platinum Award and the Qualified Python Programmer certificate, achievements he attributes to the dedication and mentoring he received from his faculty in advancing AI technologies.

Virinchi Deevi expressed his gratitude towards the faculty for their support and guidance. He acknowledged the invaluable international exposure provided to him, which has fueled his ambitions to explore cybersecurity measures against crypto hacks.
