KMOU Establishes Collaborative University for Marine Science and Technology

KMOU university joins forces with related organizations to establish ( tentative name ) a cooperative university for sharing marine science and technology , accelerating the cultivation of global talent in the marine field .



On the 23rd, a business agreement ceremony was held at the University Headquarters with the Ship & Offshore Plant Research Institute ( Director Kiyong Hong ), Korea Shipbuilding and Marine Equipment Research Institute ( President Bae Jeong-cheol ), and Small and Medium Shipbuilding Research Institute ( President Seo Yong-seok ) .



According to the agreement, these institutions will establish and jointly operate a ( tentatively named ) Ocean Science and Technology Collaborative Collaborative University . Establishing a talent development strategy, opening a curriculum , and planning and jointly operating various programs that can lead to student growth .



In addition , information on shipbuilding and maritime affairs owned by each institution and domestic and foreign networks are mutually shared .



As the need for nurturing talents in the marine sector increases day by day, this agreement has a great meaning .
