Kochi’s Water Metro Project Receives Top Honors as Best Green Transport Initiative in India, and Jabalpur Awarded for Innovative City Transport Financing Mechanism

Kochi has won country’s top award with city’s Water Metro project being rated as Best Green Transport Initiative in #India while Jabalpur in #MadhyaPradesh has won award for most innovative financing mechanism for its city transport services.

The awards were given at valedictory session at Urban Mobility India conference and exhibition which concluded on Sunday night. Cities in other categories that won awards include Srinagar Smart City for Best Public Transport System and Shillong for Best Record of Public Involvement.
