Korea Maritime & Ocean University: Business agreement for ‘career development and job support for students with disabilities’ with Busan Employment Support Center for the Disabled
The Support Center for Disabled Students (Center Director Ji-woong Lee) signed a business agreement with the Busan Metropolitan City Disabled Job Integrated Support Center (Center Director Jang Seong-cheol) for career development and job support for disabled students (young people).
The business agreement ceremony held at the Busan General Assembly for the Disabled on the 29th was attended by major officials from both organizations, including Lee Ji-woong, head of the Support Center for Students with Disabilities, and Jang Seong-cheol, director of the Busan Employment Support Center for the Disabled.
Through this agreement, our university will help improve services for disabled students and receive support such as professional counseling, educational support, and job placement.
In addition, in accordance with the agreement, the two organizations will support careers and jobs for students with disabilities (young people) expand and link vocational education and training opportunities share and support job counseling and job search activities support students with disabilities such as collaboration in establishing a job platform network and job information network for the disabled (Youth) We plan to promote the support work for the purpose of mutual cooperation.
Ji-woong Lee, head of the Support Center for Students with Disabilities, said, “Through this agreement, Korea Maritime University and Busan Metropolitan City’s Integrated Employment Support Center for the Disabled will establish a mutual cooperation system and do our best to support the career and employment opportunities of students with disabilities.”
