Korea Maritime & Ocean University: Business agreement with Korea Institute for Criminal and Legal Policy
On the 28th , our university signed a business agreement with the Korea Institute for Criminal and Legal Policy ( President Tae -Hoon Ha ) to promote mutual development .
The Korea Institute for Criminal and Justice Policy is a government-funded research institute that contributes to the establishment of national criminal and legal policies and crime prevention by comprehensively and systematically analyzing and researching the actual conditions, causes, and countermeasures of crimes . It aims to contribute to policy establishment and development through empirical and comprehensive analysis and research in the criminal and legal fields .
The signing ceremony held at the university headquarters on this day was attended by major officials from both institutions, including President Doh Do-hee and President Tae-hoon Ha, Director of the Korean Criminal and Legal Policy Research Institute .
The signing ceremony was prepared to establish a cooperative system through mutual exchanges in the research field and to strengthen the education, human resources development and research capabilities of the two institutions .
According to the agreement, the two institutions will ▲ joint research and academic events ▲ exchange research personnel ▲ exchange research materials and publications ▲ joint efforts to establish and operate the maritime criminal and legal policy joint research center .
In addition, the two organizations plan to actively cooperate in the future on matters that require mutual cooperation .
Tae-Hoon Ha, president of the Korea Institute of Criminal and Legal Policy, said, “ We will do our best to provide research support for not only criminal justice in the maritime field, but also research support for legal affairs from the criminal justice that we have been focusing on. We are also looking forward to capacity building . ”
President Doe Do-hee said, “ In order to solve the marine environmental problems that may arise in the future, the legal system related to the ocean must be stable .
