Korea Maritime & Ocean University Hosts Successful Completion Of ‘National And Public Universities Graduate School Policy Seminar’

On the 8th , at the international conference room of the University Headquarters, the 「State-centered National / Public University Graduate School Policy Seminar 」 was held under the auspices of the ‘ State-centered National / Public University Graduate School Association ‘ .



In this policy seminar, President Doh Do-hee and 15 deans of graduate schools out of 19 national and public university graduate schools attended and actively discussed ways to strengthen graduate school functions .



In particular, they discussed ways to develop graduate schools through mutual cooperation among member schools .



In addition, the head of the Department of University Academic Affairs System of the Ministry of Education attended and had a meeting to find problems in the operation of graduate schools and to find ways to improve them .



The participating schools decided to expand and carry out policy research at national and public universities centered on the state through the policy seminar on this day .



Oh Cheol, the dean of the Graduate School, who is the next president of the National / Public University Graduate School Council, said , ” I hope that the National Public University Graduate School Council will serve as an important opportunity for the balanced development of the local higher education ecosystem . “



On the other hand, the ‘ National / Public University Graduate School Council ‘ plays the role of building active network activities among graduate schools of national / public universities , conducting continuous policy research , gathering the current status and concerns of graduate school operation and conveying them to the Ministry of Education .
