The campaign booths featured environmental protection programs that are closely related to issues in daily life, such as giving instructions for how to use tumbler cleaning machines providing an upcycling experience which involved converting worn-out varsity jackets into pouches donating unused tumblers and providing an experience assembling solar lanterns (Miral Welfare Foundation). Each experience booth was directly operated and promoted by Korea University students to encourage campus-wide participation.

Korea University’s environmental protection club Korea University Saving the Environment Project (KUSEP) conducted activities which aimed to instruct participants on how to use the tumbler cleaning machines installed in the underground Central Plaza and to inform them about additional installation locations. In addition, the Close-up team, which conducts upcycling activities using textile waste, and the Tumbler Mate team, which promotes the reuse of unused tumblers, participated in the event.

The Korea University Institute for Sustainability is engaging in various activities in order to make progress toward zero waste on campus, such as using reusable containers and biodegradable banners. It plans to conduct a variety of ESG activities to increase participation rates among university members.
