Korea University Shines: International Students Showcase Their Talent at the 2023 ISF Talent Show

Korea University held the Fall 2023 International Student Festival (ISF) on Thursday, 16 November at Minju Plaza.

At the Festival, international students introduced their culture, food and national costumes to foster deeper inter-cultural understanding and communication. The students from Asia (Korea, Japan, Indonesia, China, Indian, Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Vietnam), Africa (Morocco), America (Colombia, the United States, Mexico, Brazil, and Canada), Oceania (Australia) and Europe (France, Germany, Turkey, Hungary and Spain) established 21 booths, in this way building a small global community.

Approximately 1,200 international students shared various aspects of their culture – education, food, national costumes – with each other. They also participated in the Talent Show, performing in their traditional costumes. The Festival was accompanied by other events where students could try on traditional costumes, learn about traditional martial arts and play the traditional games of various countries.
