Maithri Aquatech will now represent India at the KPMG Private Enterprise Global Tech Innovator Competition Final slated to take place at the Web Summit 2022 in Lisbon, Portugal, in November 2022, where they will pitch their growth plans to an international judging panel and receive global recognition in the KPMG Private Enterprise “2022 Winners Report”.

The GTIC is a marquee event by KPMG in the UK to recognise top talent in the tech innovation space of startups. This year, the competition has expanded further with over 25 countries and territories from 16 countries in the previous year. In India the initiative was led by the Emerging Giants Practice of the firm. Competitors were given an opportunity to pitch their business plans to a panel of industry leaders (both KPMG and external industry experts) who evaluated their plans. The application process and screening saw large participation from the startup community in India. Basis multiple evaluation rounds, the finals saw participation from 14 key technology startups in India. The India winner will receive a one-year mentorship from KPMG in India and representation across the KPMG global network. They will also get a chance to showcase their solution in the Open Innovation Platform series of KPMG in India, thereby opening doors to multiple opportunities for joint-GTM with KPMG in India.

Amarjeet Singh, Head – Emerging Giants & Startups (India), KPMG in India said, “The Global Tech Innovator Competition (GTIC 2022) is a marquee property for KPMG in India & globally.
