Krayon a unique and highly secure app for children will host WIZKIDS, South Asia’s largest Inter-School Competition
New Delhi: WIZKIDS, South Asia’s Largest Inter-school Literary, Art & Cultural Competition is back and it’s taking their show online on the exciting and secure children’s app Krayon. Their aim is to meet the needs of students looking for after-school programming and extracurricular activities amidst the ever-changing COVID-19 landscape.
Krayon is India’s first secure & exclusive video platform for a student’s overall development. The platform will have 3 parts called Watch, Learn and Perform. The app is a talent learning platform with high levels of interaction and is India’s first platform for student generated content.
Established in 1997, WIZKIDS was India’s first independently organized inter school competition and a pioneer in the student engagement space in South Asia. WIZKIDS has impacted over 30 million students across 6 countries (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal & UAE) and more than 100,000 schools have physically participated in the event.
WIZKIDS has consistently focused on helping students to shed their inhibitions and reach for the stars and in this process, it has given India a lot of talented artists such as Aneri Vajani (Actress), Sanjana Ganesan (Sports Represent), Neha Jha (Former Ms. India, Model), Aranya Johar (Slam Poet), Behram Singanporia (Singer, Musician), Sharath Sagar(Social Entrepreneur) to name a few.
The purpose of the competition is to bring together children on one forum by enabling students with a platform to showcase their talent, reward their skills and encourage them to push their limits. This program gives students the exposure required to build resilience and character through competition with peers and enables them to focus on improving them consistently. It will also empower students to learn various Talents through curated sessions, masterclasses and skill development programs. These courses will be curated by partners and professional exponents of the various art forms.
Adds Syed Sultan Ahmed, MD & Chief Learner @ LXL, “Every student has talent & every talent needs a Stage. At WIZKIDS, we looked at this opportunity to create a platform which can engage children from across India and give them an opportunity to learn and showcase their unique talents. The Krayon platform which is an exclusive secure online platform will host WIZKIDS 2020 and will enable students to learn and showcase themselves.”
WIZKIDS will be partnering with various creative and talent organizations like Kommune, Rhapsody, Terence Lewis Dance Academy, Dance with Madhuri & AR Rahman’s School of Music and Museum of Art & Photography and conducting a massive outreach campaign to introduce its new avatar to children of the world. This will be supported by a virtual launch on various social media and video sharing platforms. They will also engage their Krayon representatives across 120 cities in India to create a connect with schools and parents and introduce them to the new format. Making it accessible and available for all.
A platform like Krayon & WIZKIDS is important now more than ever. With classes going online and most students locked up at homes, it is important to have extracurricular activities that will help them evolve and succeed while gaining knowledge and confidence.
