Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Budgam conducts Valedictory function of 7 days Skill Training programme

Budgam: The Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Budgam today conducted a Valedictory function of 7 days Skill Training programme for Rural youth titled ‘Mushroom Production Techniques’.

As many as 28 rural youth attended the training programme sponsored by SAMETI (DOE) SKUAST-K and MANAGE Hyderabad from 30th January to 5th February 2021 at KVK Budgam, SKUAST-K

During the period trainees underwent both the theoretical lectures and practical demonstrations on the different aspects of Mushroom production. They also had an exposure visit to the Department of Agriculture, Mushroom Center Lal Mandi Srinagar.

The Valedictory function was attended by Chief Guest, Prof. Tariq Ahmad Shah, Division of Plant Pathology SKUAST-K, District Agriculture Officer Budgam, Syed Gul Aijaz, and Sr. Scientist & Head KVK Budgam, Dr. Nasir A. Dar along with Scientific/Technical staff of KVK.

At the end, Valedictory function was concluded by distribution of certificates among the trainees.
