KVK Budgam felicitates 100 trainees during farmers outreach programme
BUDGAM : KVK Budgam today felicitated 100 trainees during a daylong farmers outreach programme at Budgam.
Vice Chancellor SKUAST-K Prof. JP Sharma today addressed the trainees in virtual mode emphasizing on the importance of training on poultry farming and quality seed development.
The vice chancellor instructed Director Extension SKUAST-K to link poultry farming with the university so that treatment and market linkage is established for their benefits.
The daylong event was organized at KVK Budgam in order to inaugurate 4 stir skill development training programme for hundred trainees who during the course were also felicitated in showing good performance in integrated farming.
ADDC Budgam Akramullah Tak who attended the function as guest of honor said on the occasion that KVK Budgam is disseminating its potential, experiences in inspiring the educated youth to go for new integrated farming methods. He said agriculture sector has vast capacity in generating alternate employment opportunities.
Worthy Director Extension SKUAST-K Prof. Dil Mohd Makhdoomi while inaugurating the workshop physically appreciated the efforts of the KVK team and assured of strengthening KVK infrastructures on latest parameters.
Dr. Nasir Ahmad Dar Coordinator KVK briefed the dignitaries about the function and outreach of the KVK and its importance of skill development programmes is running for the rural youth.
