Kyushu University: Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Case Confirmed at Kyushu University


On April 15 and 18, two students at Ito Campus tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease (COVID -19) on polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests.

We hope for the speedy recovery of those who have been infected and we ask for your cooperation in not disclosing any private information of this individual and his/her family members, out of consideration and respect.

While great concerns surround our community at Kyushu University and in our neighboring communities, we would like to recognize and appreciate our students, faculty, and staff in working together to keep our community safe. Kyushu University will continue to provide the latest information and will strive to prevent the further spread of the infection.
