La Trobe class of 2020

The University congratulates all students who have received offers, either through the latest VTAC round, earlier and subsequent rounds, and the many who have received offers direct from the University.

La Trobe University acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Susan Dodds congratulates all students commencing their studies this year.

“We are looking forward to welcoming you to one of Australia’s most forward-thinking universities,” Professor Dodds said.

Besides VTAC offers, La Trobe makes offers directly to students enrolling in a number of popular graduate entry qualifications, including Law and Nursing, which were previously managed by VTAC.

“We have seen a significant increase in direct applications and expect to see this trend continue over the coming months,” Professor Dodds said.

“La Trobe is proud to offer a diverse range of courses for students seeking to study in metropolitan and regional locations. We provide a rewarding experience for students joining our community, and we will be pleased to see you soon,” Professor Dodds said.

In 2020 students have shown strong interest in courses leading to careers that are in high demand. These include Nursing, Dentistry, Education, Physiotherapy and Social Work.

La Trobe’s refreshed Arts courses have attracted a 25 per cent increase in applications while other courses introduced in recent years are proving popular.  These include Business Analytics, Criminology, Sports Coaching, our specialist Archaeology degree, and our Rural Medical Pathway with interest up 50 per cent on last year.

A number of courses are still available for application. To find out more, contact La Trobe.
