New Delhi: Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Manangement organized The National Summit 2018 on 28th February 2018 at LBSIM’s campus in Dwarka. The summit aims to discuss how two separate domains of marketing and technology are merging into what is being called MarTech.
The summit began with a screening of a short film on Shastri ji, this was followed by a welcome address by Dr. D. K. Srivastava, Director, LBSIM, following which Dr. S. P. Ketkar intoduced the summit and the objectives behind it. This was followed by the inaugural address by the Chief Guest, Mr. Pankaj Dubey (Managing Director, Polaris India Private Limited).
The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Rupak Agarwal, Founder and CEO, Evue Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Following which technical sessions were delivered by Mr. Akshat Agarwal (Renewals Specialist, Adobe), Mr. P D S Narang (Sr. Consultant, Soluzione IT Services Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Shekhar Avasthy (Principal Consultant, Aileron Analytics Consulting), Mr. Sukanta Das (Sr. VP – Sales and Marketing, Vodafone), Mr. Abhishek Jha (Head – Product Marketing, Octane.in), Mr. Anand Babu (Relationship Manager, ICT Academy), Dr. Bhavleen Rekhi (Digital Marketing Consultant) and Mr. Subhajit Bhattacharya (Program Head – Innovation, Accenture).
The Chief Guest of the summit, Mr. Pankaj Dubey (Managing Director, Polaris India Private Limited) exclaimed “Marketing and Technology has evolved a lot over time. The element of human touch is very important in all relationships, even with the customers. We need to integrate human touch with technology.”
