Lancaster University: Lancaster MBA in top tier of CEO Magazine’s 2021 Global MBA Rankings

The rankings feature 303 MBA, Executive MBA and Online MBA Programmes, from 27 countries. Lancaster University Management School is one of only twelve UK business schools to feature.

CEO Magazine has been showcasing top business schools from around the globe since it first launched in 2008. In 2012 the publication launched its annual Global MBA Rankings, profiling MBA, Executive MBA and Online MBA programmes. This year CEO Magazine reached out to business schools across North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the BRICS, and ranked data from 180 schools, offering 338 different programmes in 27 countries.

This year’s rankings are calculated from average scores taken from four years of data spanning 2017-2019/20. The quality of the Faculty, international diversity, sizes of classes, accreditation, cost, international exposure, work experience, professional development, gender parity, delivery methods and faculty to student ratio are all taken into consideration.

Chris Saunders, Lancaster University Management School’s Associate Dean for Postgraduate Education said: “The Lancaster MBA’s inclusion in the top tier of global MBA programmes in this ranking provides further evidence of the quality of the programme and the brilliant outcomes our students achieve. It is fantastic to be in a very select grouping of UK MBA programmes to be ranked by CEO Magazine, the Financial Times and the Economist WhichMBA? ranking.”

Lancaster University Management School’s MBA programme is ranked 2nd in the world for corporate strategy and 8th in the world for value for money in the Financial Times MBA global rankings 2021. The Lancaster MBA is placed 9th in the UK, 25th in Europe and 96th in the world.

LUMS’ MBA is also ranked 66th in the 2021 WhichMBA? rankings, published by The Economist, which also positions LUMS 13th globally and first in the UK for the education experience delivered to its students.
