Law students visit Industrial Tribunal cum Labour Court Sgr & Juvenile Justice Board Ganderbal
GANDERBAL : The Law students from School of Legal Studies, Central University of Kashmir visited Industrial Tribunal cum Labour Court Srinagar and Juvenile Justice Board Ganderbal as part of an initiative and schedule of activities organized by District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Ganderbal under the guidance of Tabasum, Secretary DLSA Ganderbal.
Law students made a visit to Industrial Tribunal Cum Labour Court Srinagar and Juvenile Justice Board Ganderbal, to get firsthand experience of Judicial proceedings.
In the guided tour, students were briefed on the functioning and procedures of the court and the Tribunal. The students were accompanied by faculty members of School of Legal Studies, Central University of Kashmir during the visit.
The programme at the Industrial Tribunal cum Labour Court Srinagar started by observing case proceedings followed by the address of Bala Joyti, Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal Cum Labour Court Srinagar.
She gave a brief concept about various legal issues. Motivational words were also addressed to students for pursuing law course.
The programme at the JJB started with an orientation by Umi Kulsoom, Pr. Magistrate Juvenile Justice Board Ganderbal. She explained to the students the hierarchy and the powers of the Juvenile Justice Board and the functioning of Juvenile Justice Board.
