LeadSquared, a Bengaluru-based SaaS company known for its admission automation solution, has partnered with CollPoll, a Mobile-first Campus Automation Platform, to transform educational institutions by digitising their admission processes. Furthermore, the New Education Policy aims to double the gross enrollment ratio from the current 26.3% to 50% in higher education institutions. According to the India Brand Equity Foundation, in FY20, Gross Enrolment Ratio in higher education in India was 27.1% and the e-learning sector is expected to reach US$ 1.96 billion by 2021, with around 9.5 million students. According to a Bloomberg report, Gen Z makes up 32% of the global population. India’s Gen Z population currently stands at 472 million and on average; an Indian Gen Z spends eight hours per day online.
