Learning foreign languages ​​through digital storytelling

The webinar was organized and conducted by the head. Department of Foreign Languages ​​of Humanities I.E. Abramova and associate professor of the department E.P. Shishmolina. The event was attended by students of the 11th grade of secondary school No. 27 under the guidance of an English teacher V.Yu. Gusheva.
The aim of the webinar was to familiarize the participants with the features of projects in the Digital Story format as one of the tools for self-presentation, as well as the opportunity to try their hand at creating their own digital story.

In modern professional discourse, the ability to present oneself is highly valued not only by employers, but also by business partners, and self-presentation skills help to achieve success in a business environment.

One of the results of the webinar is the acquaintance of listeners with a possible competition, the outcome of which is determined, among other things, by the ability to demonstrate their strengths in order to stand out and be noticed among other applicants. Participants in English confirmed a high level of communicative competence and motivation to use the English language, great creativity, passion for business, charm and ability to convey their ideas to the viewer and have the necessary impact on the audience.
