Lecture held on Taiwan and India’s Cultural Convergence

ALIGARH : Ms. Chang Shin Yun, a Taiwanese Scholar and visiting faculty at Amity University, Noida delivered a talk on “Taiwan and India’s Cultural Convergence: Exploring Opportunities in Multicultural Context” at the Chinese Division of the Department of Foreign Languages (DFL), Aligarh Muslim University.

She talked about the literature, society, lifestyle and scholarship opportunities in Taiwan and urged the students to look for new techniques to improve their Chinese.

Earlier, welcoming the guest speaker, Mr Md Yasin, the convener of the event, discussed various issues related to Taiwan and Taiwanese people and highlighted the importance of Taiwan as India’s strategic partner.

Prof. Mohammad Azher, Chairperson, DFL and Dean, Faculty of International Studies, said that the lecture has provided the students with an opportunity to get introduced to Taiwan in a better manner.
